Art should come from the heart. There's a thin veil between spirituality and creativity and for me painting becomes a tool to finding
my self and losing the ego. I paint because I see beauty all around me and I like to capture that beauty on canvas. I see spirit in
nature and want to emulate this when I paint and photograph. My art is uncontrived and pure - just as nature is.
When I teach I want people to let go of the ego, to feel their way with the paint and the canvas. To find themselves. To open up. To be free. Painting should come from the soul. When you paint from the heart there is no wrong or right. It just is.
I am trained in Reiki and have studied the Alexander technique. In my workshops I will not only teach the technicalities of painting and photography, but I will teach you how to free up your body so that your creative energy can flow.
